Robyn Jane Stead

Stead, Robyn Jane, 58, Virginia Beach, VA, went to be with the Lord on April 14, 2018. Born on August 13, 1959, Altoona, daughter of Jay and Catherine (Rice) Foor. In 1980, she graduated with a Registered Nursing Degree from Phillipsburg Hospital School of Nursing, a career in which she excelled for over 30 years.  She was an exceptional fashionista with hobbies including shopping, makeup, bright hair color, spoiling her girls, and traveling. Robyn filled many roles in her lifetime including mom, daughter, sister, friend, nurse, and her most favorite, MumMum. Preceded in death by her father, Jay. She is survived by her twin daughters, Hannah Bell and Mary Bell, Virginia Beach, VA; “the light of her life”, granddaughter, Paityn Bell, Virginia Beach, VA; mother, Catherine Foor, Altoona; siblings, Wendy Lee, Cresson; and Layne Foor, Puyallup, WA; partner, William Miller, San Diego, CA; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  She is the granddaughter of Maurice and Mary Ellen Rice.  Friends will be received April 22, from 4 – 8 p.m., Kennedy-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated April 23, 10 a.m., Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Very Rev. Fr. John Byrnes, Celebrant.
