Miller, Ronald L., 78, Shirleysburg, passed away Monday March 3, 2025, at Embassy at Woodland Park, Orbisonia. Born January 21, 1947, Huntingdon, son of the late Cloyd and Blanche (Johnson) Miller. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Bonnie (Dell) Miller; and siblings, Hilda Meinhart, Marie Stapleton, Faye Bard, Darlene Warfel, and Paul Miller. Survived by children, Lori Wible; Amy Secrest and husband, Derek; Paul Miller and wife, Jackie; 4 grandchildren, Caleb Wible, Izabella Secrest, Quinn Miller and Charlotte Miller; and a step granddaughter, Alexis Secrest; and a brother, Donald Miller. Ronald was a 1964 graduate of Captain Jack High School, Mount Union. He honorably served his country in the United States Army and the Army National Guard from 1966 to 1972 and again from 1986 to 1987. Ronald was a member of the Germany Valley Church of the Brethren and a former church board member. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing softball. Ronald liked socializing and eating at Checker’s Grille with his friends and coffee club. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Saturday March 8, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon, at the funeral home, Pastor Tim Miller, officiant. Interment to follow at Germany Valley Cemetery with military honors. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
