Rose Anna Flagle

Flagle, Rose Anna, 103, Lewistown, passed away November 30, 2022, at the William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center of Lewistown. Born May 25, 1919, Vineyard, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Frank and Sophia (Jachowicz) Semla. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Flagle. Survived by her daughter, Judith Ann Hayduk husband Ronald of McVeytown; her son, Richard W. Flagle wife Patricia, McVeytown; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sophie Semla; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen Flagle; three sisters, Mary Lubert, Helen Kruk, and Catherine Moffett; and her two brothers, Joe and Stanley Semla. Rose retired from the C.M. Creitz Packing Company Inc. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and embroidery. Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 6p.m. until 8p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 10 a.m., St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Mount Union, Fr. Joseph Fleming officiating. Interment will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Shirleysburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Catherine of Siena, 203 W. Market St., Mount Union, PA. 17066.
