Fry, Rose V., 86, Cresson, went to be with her beloved Jack, on March 16, 2017, at Rebekah Manor, Ebensburg, where she was loved by staff and residents. Born Aug. 29, 1930, in Altoona, daughter of the late Charles and Pauline (O'Connor) Ansman. Preceded in death by husband, John W. "Jack" Fry, her beautiful daughter, Susan, and sisters, Anna Ansman and Marian Homerich. Survived by son, John; granddaughter, Susan; and her precious friend and protector, her dog Shadow. Also survived by nieces: Paula Ann Biseli (David); Mary Sanders (Raymond); and Catherine Garlick (Richard); and her great-niece, Marla Ann Sanders. Rose was a member of St. Aloysius Parish, Cresson, where she was a member of the church choir, Legion of Mary, and active in many church activities. She was an avid member of St. Jude Hospital, S.P.C.A., and Cresson Food Pantry. Family and friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where Legion of Mary will recite the rosary at 4:30p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Aloysius Church, Rev. Leo Arnone.
