Rose Mary Wasil

Wasil, Rose Mary, 67, a 60-year resident of the Ebensburg Center, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born December 9, 1953, Altoona, daughter of Andrew J. and Helen B. (Orehowsky) Wasil. Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mark Wasil; and Godparents, Julia and Rudy Stossel. Survived by her siblings, Ron (Linda) Wasil; Genevieve (Paul) Raymond; Mary (Steve) Weaver; Leonard (Betsy) Wasil; and James Wasil; nieces, Jeanine (John) Romanowicz; Matt (Kelly) Campagna; Chrissy (Joe) Falger; Jennifer (Thomas) Andersen; Erica (Doug) Shawley; Laura (Matt) Oborski; Valerie (Brandon) Gresko; and Emily (Stuart Custer) O’Neill; and special cousins, Therese Griffith, Kathy Bradley, David and Frank Stossel. The last 7 months have been difficult, but now she is whole and in God’s arms where there is no pain – she is whole again. The family would like to thank the countless caregivers from the Ebensburg Center that cared for Rose over the years, we are eternally grateful. Friends and family will be received Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 9-10:30 a.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson. A funeral Mass will be celebrated following the viewing at 11 a.m., Our Lady of the Alleghenies Chapel, 5379 Portage Street, Lilly, Fr. Timothy Harris, T.O.R., celebrant. Committal Mt.
