Heiney, II, Samuel Chester, 73, Mount Union, passed away January 17, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville. Born June 29, 1947, Lancaster, son of the late Samuel J. and Leoda Jeanette (Shertzer) Heiney. Preceded in death by daughters, Sharon J. Heiney and Joyce Kennedy; siblings, Dennis Heiney, Kyla Heiney, Sharon Shertzer, Vonda Jeffries, Samuel Heiney, Clarence Heiney, Brenda Heiney and David Heiney. Survived by wife, Sharon Viel-Heiney; children, Sammi Lynn Fisher and husband, Jason, Williamsburg; Samuel C. Heiney III and wife Myra, Three Springs; Tammy M. Kennedy, Lancaster; Daniel J. Stone and wife, Kelly, Enola; Jennifer L. Beatty and husband, John, York; 14 grandchildren, Dennis, Allison, Mikayla, Samantha, Samuel, Adrienne, Tina Zachary, Timmy, Alicia, John, Josh, Caleb and Madelyn; 3 great-great grandchildren and a special nephew, Nathan Bloom; sisters, Ivie Hall and Lori Thomas. Samuel was an avid hunter and liked to play cards. He was most happy and at peace when spending time with his family and friends.
