Sarah A. “Gail” Seabolt, 96, of Cresson, went home to be with the Lord August 19, 2021, at John Paul II Manor. She was born February 15, 1925, in Roaring Spring, a daughter to the late Reverend Stephen D. and Margaret Belle (Zeigler) Yoder. Surviving are a son, Mark Seabolt and wife, Tammy of Cresson; granddaughter, Crystal Hensler and husband Scott of Hinesville, GA; great granddaughter, Ryleigh Long of Hinesville, GA and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Seabolt, Sr.; son, John Seabolt, Jr.; granddaughter, Melissa Seabolt; and four sisters, Hattie Kaufman, Glendora Emigh, Euretta Yoder and Wilmetta King. She retired as a Registered Nurse after over 33 years of service with the state of Pennsylvania. After retiring Gail stayed active and was involved with Contact Altoona, Cresson Food Pantry, Altoona Humane Society, Gallitzin Bowling League. She enjoyed going to the casino, camping, traveling, and spending time with her family. Friends will be received Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Anderson Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 23, 2021, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson, Rev. Leo Arnone officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to John Paul II Manor, 856 Cambria St., Cresson, Pa 16630.
