Pyles, Thelma I., 95, Belleville, passed away January 31, 2022, at Valley View Retirement Center, Belleville. Born September 25, 1926, Wayne Township, Mifflin County, daughter of the late Oscar and Blanche (Hamilton) Pollock.  Preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond D. Pyles; her daughter, Nancy Lee Rhone; 6 brothers, Fern, Raymond, Oscar, Robert, Richard, and Jack Pollock; and two sisters, Gladys Gaisior and Bertha Renninger. Thelma is survived by her three daughters, Gloria J. Morder and husband Donald; Jeanie Pyles; and Tammy Hicks and husband Thomas; son, Duane D. Pyles and wife Mary; 16 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and two sisters, Evelyn Glover and Delores Booher. Thelma was a member of the Mount Union Christian and Missionary Alliance Church where she was very active. She enjoyed reading and studying the Bible, attending church, and spending time with her family. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 6-8p.m. and on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m., Heath-Anderson Funeral Home, Mount Union, Pastor Richard Peck and Pastor Vaughn Kanagy officiants. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Union Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 217 S. Washington St., Mount Union, PA 17066 or to the Valley View Retirement Community, 4702 E. Main Street, Belleville, PA 17004. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
