Timothy L. Prough

Prough, Timothy L., 49, of Mount Union, passed away November 3, 2021. Born September 2, 1972, son of Charles W. and Roxie R. (Miller) Prough. Survived by his wife Wendy D. (Rinker) Prough, his six children, Thomas Adams wife, Ashley; Luke Prough, Hunter Prough, Matthew Prough, Charles “CJ” Prough and Alyssa Hicks husband, Stephin. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Jocelyn, Gannon, and Avery; sister, Angie McMahon and husband, Brian. Tim also loved his two dogs Molly and Lizzy. Tim was preceded in death by his father Charles W. Prough; maternal grandparents, William and Elizabeth Miller; paternal grandparents Charles and Dorothy Prough. He was a graduate of Juniata Valley High School. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy and worked at SCI Huntingdon as a Correctional Officer. He enjoyed woodworking, his dogs, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Braves, cooking BBQ, and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren. Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday November 9, 2021, from 10a.m. until the Noon Funeral service at the funeral home with Pastor Danny Neff, officiant. Interment will follow at Mount Union Cemetery. A luncheon will be held following all services at the VFW Post 5754, Mount Union.
